Due to your commercial setting, your hot tub or tubs requires different attention from regular water, and it is also different from water in a swimming pool. Due to the higher temperature of hot tub water, there are more necessary steps to take to ensure the water is appropriately sanitized, and not balancing your water will have an adverse effect on how your sanitization levels perform.

Unbalanced water can indeed have an effect on bather comfort and readings that have a pH reading that’s too
pH high or pH low include dry or itchy skin and irritating to eyes, an increase of scale and erosion in your filter, cloudy water, a strange smell, poor efficiency of your sanitizer, and staining to the hot tub surface.
